Privacy policy

Perpetua is operated by 8SENECA (“we”, “us”). It runs LinkedIn activity — likes, comments, connection invitations, Company Page invitations and posts — for your own LinkedIn account, within daily limits you control. This page explains what we keep about you to do that, who else handles it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address and display name. If you register with a password, it is handled by our sign-in provider and is never visible to us in readable form. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email address and name. We do not ask for, or read, your Gmail, Drive, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
- Access to your LinkedIn account. Depending on how you connect, either your LinkedIn email and password (and a two-step verification secret, if you give us one), stored encrypted, or the signed-in session kept in a browser profile reserved for you on our systems. We use it only to run the actions you have switched on.
- What we read on LinkedIn to do the work. Your list of connections (names and profile links), the Company Pages you administer, and the posts we like or comment on (the post’s identifier, its author’s name and an excerpt of its text).
- What we do for you. A record of each action — when, to whom or on which post, the text of any comment or post we wrote, and whether it worked. This is what you see on the History screen. We also keep your settings, your keywords and your post drafts.
- Technical data. IP addresses, timestamps and error details in our server logs, and a cookie that keeps you signed in.
Who else handles it
We use these providers to run the service. Each receives only what it needs for its part.
- Supabase and Google — sign-in and account identity.
- Railway — hosts the website you use.
- A proxy provider and a browser-profile tool — your LinkedIn activity runs through a proxy address assigned to your account alone, in a browser profile reserved for it.
- An AI text provider (through OpenRouter) — we send it the topic or the text of a post being replied to so it can write a draft or a comment. We do not send your passwords.
- An image provider — the headline or topic of a post, to find a matching picture.
- Resend — to send you service emails, such as a confirmation code.
- LinkedIn — which receives the actions we perform on your account.
We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
Keeping it and deleting it
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu; we send a confirmation code to your email first. Deleting it removes your stored LinkedIn access, your browser profile, your drafts, your History, your connections list and your settings. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing privacy@8seneca.com. Server logs may contain technical events and IP addresses; we remove those on request as well.
Security
Stored LinkedIn credentials are encrypted. Each customer’s data is kept separate from every other customer’s, and your sign-in cookie cannot be read by scripts on the page. No system is perfectly secure; if you think your account has been misused, tell us straight away.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can switch any feature off, or stop the bot, at any time from the console.
Children
The service is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you.
